In a concerning incident in Wisconsin, a man was arrested after multiple drivers reported seeing children waving for help from inside a camper being towed along a highway. According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, these calls started on July 24, with motorists expressing concern about the children’s apparent distress.
Troopers conducted a high-risk stop on the camper near Madison after locating it on the highway. The driver, a 57-year-old resident of Illinois, was found to be intoxicated following a field sobriety test. Inside the camper, authorities discovered nine children, all under the age of 16.

The children, who were known to the driver, were safely returned to their families. However, the exact relationship between the children and the man, as well as the purpose of their journey, remains unclear.
