Winterhawks Player of the Week: Josh Zakreski

The Portland Winterhawks only managed three goals in their two losses this weekend. Josh Zakreski had all three, so it was a simple decision.Josh Zakreski is the Winterhawks Player of the Week for January 27–February 2 after scoring three goals in two games.

In 46 games thus far this season, he has scored 30 goals and provided 20 assists. He reached a career-high number of points with his goal on Saturday.

Friday vs. Medicine Hat: The Tigers defeated them 7–2.

2-1 defeat to the Royals on Saturday, with one goal against Victoria.
