UPDATE: The best pasta nominations are now closed.Voting for your preferred finalist is open until December 10.
Right now, comfort food is the focus of The Oregonian’s Readers Choice Awards. You can vote for the finest pho in the Portland area until December 3, 2024, and you’ve chosen the best ramen. Pasta is the next kind of noodles we’ll be discussing.
Renata was at the top of the list when The Oregonian’s dining critic Michael Russell last ranked pasta in 2017, but it closed in 2022. At Ava Gene’s, which came in at number two on the list, you may still eat a dish of tagliatelle.
Additionally, you can’t go wrong with Cathy Whims Nostrana, where the pasta is prepared using only the freshest ingredients and patience.
