It will be time to move forward once more in a few weeks.
On Sunday, March 9, 2025, daylight saving time will start at two in the morning.
Traditional clocks will need to be manually moved forward by one hour, however the majority of electronics nowadays will automatically update to daylight saving time.
For the foreseeable future, we will continue to spring forward in March and fall back in November, despite recent attempts to stop seasonal time adjustments.
The lawmakers considered putting Oregon on a year-round standard timetable in 2024. Oregon Senate Bill 1548 was essentially killed because it passed the Senate but was never forwarded to the Oregon House of Representatives.
On Sunday, November 2, daylight saving time will come to an end, and we will return to standard time.
