What $600,000 or less gets you in Portland metro area, Dec. 9 to 15

Between December 9 and December 15, prospective homebuyers contemplating the real estate market had a variety of possibilities in different neighborhoods around the region. This article lists recent Portland metro area real estate sales, all of which included properties under $600,000.

The top six properties in each neighborhood are listed below, selected for their closest proximity to the desired price range and the largest living areas.

Although a property may have sold earlier, the properties listed below are for real estate sales for which the title was recorded during the week of December 9.

1. $600K, 3 bedrooms / 3 bathrooms

In December, the ownership of this detached home with three bedrooms and three bathrooms changed. The 2,687-square-foot house, which is situated in Oregon City’s 15000 block of Emerson Ct., sold for $600,000, or $223 per square foot. A three-bedroom, three-bathroom single-family home in Beavercreek’s 24400 block of S. Hayfield Road had a change of ownership in December. At $600,000 ($285 per square foot), the detached house located in the 2700 block of S.E. 138th Loop, Vancouver offered another opportunity below the targeted price range when it changed hands in December. This property, built in 1979, provides 2,102 square feet of living space, featuring three bedrooms and two baths, and sits on a 10,058-square-foot lot. On December 2, the agreement was concluded.
