What $500,000 or less gets you in Portland metro area, Dec. 16 to 22

Between December 16 and December 22, prospective homebuyers who were thinking about the real estate market had a variety of possibilities in different neighborhoods around the region. This article lists recent Portland metro area real estate sales, all of which included properties under $500,000.

The top six properties in each neighborhood are listed below, selected for their closest proximity to the desired price range and the largest living areas.

Although a property may have sold earlier, the properties listed below are for real estate sales for which the title was recorded during the week of December 16.

1. $500K, 3 bedrooms / 3 bathrooms

In December, the ownership of this detached home with three bedrooms and three baths changed. The 1,844-square-foot house, which is situated in Portland’s 3200 block of S.E. 167th Ave., sold for $500,000, or $271 per square foot. Constructed in 1967, the property occupies a 7,000-square-foot lot. On December 12, the agreement was concluded.

2. $500K, 3 bedrooms / 2 baths

A three-bedroom, two-bathroom single-family home in Silverton’s 1300 block of Crestview Drive had a change of ownership in December. This 1,546-square-foot property was constructed in 1999 and sold for $500,000, or $323 per square foot. The property is 7,841 square feet in size. On December 6, the agreement was concluded.

3. $500K, 3 bedrooms / 2 baths

This detached home, located in the 4900 block of N.E. 144th Ct., Vancouver, was built in 1989 and sold in December for $500,000, or $326 per square foot. The house has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and 1,532 square feet of living space. There are 8,283 square feet of land on the property. On December 9, the agreement was concluded.

4. $500K, 2 bedrooms / 3 bathrooms

This single-family home with two bedrooms and three bathrooms, located in the 7000 block of N.E. 12th Ave., Vancouver, sold for $500,000 in December, or $351 per square foot. The 1950-built home on a 13,990-square-foot lot and has 1,426 square feet of living space. On December 11, the agreement was concluded.

5. $500K, 2 bedrooms / 1 bath

When it sold in December, the single-family home on the 6700 block of S.E. 69th Ave., Portland, gave another opportunity below the desired price range for $499,900 ($362 per square foot). Located on a 5,000-square-foot lot, this 1940-built home has 1,380 square feet of living space, two bedrooms, and one bathroom. On December 13, the agreement was concluded.

6. $499K, 4 bedrooms / 3 bathrooms

For a price tag of $499,000 ($209 per square foot), the single-family house, built in 1954 and located in the 7400 block of S.E. 118th Dr., Portland changed hands in December. The home spans 2,382 square feet of living area, with four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The land is 10,000 square feet in size. On December 13, the agreement was concluded.
