WEBSTER, Texas – Great Wolf Lodge Texas Gulf Coast has unveiled an earlier-than-expected grand opening date, scheduled for Wednesday, August 7. This expansion marks a significant development for the indoor water park resort, which will soon be the second Great Wolf Lodge in Texas, joining its counterpart in Grapevine.
Ahead of its debut, Great Wolf Lodge Texas Gulf Coast is set to hire over 600 employees across various roles. A job fair will take place at Bayway Village Shopping Mall in Webster from June 29 to July 13, starting daily at 9 a.m. Interested candidates can apply for positions such as lifeguards, engineers, kids’ entertainment staff, attractions operators, front desk personnel, and housekeeping staff.
Wages for these roles range from $16 to $27 per hour, reflecting the resort’s commitment to attracting a diverse workforce to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

The resort, featuring 532 rooms, promises an array of family-friendly attractions including a 92,000-square-foot indoor water park with 13 slides, including the exclusive Texas Twirler slide. Additionally, the Great Wolf Adventure Park spans 61,000 square feet and offers activities like an indoor ropes course, miniature golf, arcade games, and a new virtual reality experience. Guests can also enjoy complimentary multimedia shows in the lobby and a variety of dining options from casual to upscale fare, including premium ice cream treats.
With its advanced opening and extensive hiring efforts, Great Wolf Lodge Texas Gulf Coast aims to bolster the local economy while providing families with a memorable vacation destination.
