The Portland Pickles will soon be available on a screen close to you.
Fans can get an inside look at the collegiate wood bat club that won its first-ever West Coast League title last season by watching the documentary Pickles Pickles Pickles. On Saturday, February 15, the movie will make its MLB Network debut at 11 a.m. PST.
It’s true. The Pickles declared on social media on Monday that it would be fantastic.
According to the film’s IMDB page, Dillon T. Pickle is the naughty mascot. It also includes the band Portugal, located in Portland. The Decemberists and the ManAmong the well-known locals around Walker Stadium are Rob Nelson, the originator of Big League Chew, and Chris Funk.
According to the team website, fans may anticipate experiencing the beauty, thrill, and passion of local summer baseball with the upcoming generation of Major League Baseball stars, from double plays to rounds of dizzy bat.
