Violent Night in Chicago Leaves 7 Shot, 2 Dead in Multiple Incidents

In a span of just five hours, Chicago saw a wave of violence overnight, with seven people shot, two of them fatally. The shootings occurred across different neighborhoods, with no arrests made as of Sunday morning.

The first fatal incident took place in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side, where a 38-year-old man was found dead from a gunshot wound to the head. Witnesses reported seeing a red two-door vehicle fleeing the scene. Just 30 minutes later, in the Austin neighborhood, a 25-year-old man was shot in the back and died at the scene, while another man was critically injured.
