The National Weather Service issued an updated wind advisory for Eastern Curry County, Josephine County, Eastern Douglas County Foothills, and Jackson County at 1:02 p.m. on Saturday. The advisory was in force until 10 a.m. on Sunday.
According to the meteorological service, “Northeast winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.”
“Unprotected skin exposed to these temperatures will suffer from frostbite and hypothermia. Unsecured objects will be blown around by gusty gusts.
