The National Weather Service issued an updated wind advisory for the foothills of the Northern and Southern Blue Mountains of Oregon on Friday at 2:25 a.m., which is in effect from 4 p.m. until 1 a.m. on Saturday.
As stated by the meteorological service, “West winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected.”
“Unsecured objects will be buffeted by gusty gusts. According to the weather service, “a few power outages may result and tree limbs could be blown down.” Strong winds like these can make driving challenging, particularly for well-known cars. Be especially careful.
United Robots offers a service called Advance Local Weather Alerts that gathers the most recent information from the National Weather Service using machine learning.
