Update: Wind advisory affecting Northern and Eastern Klamath County and Western Lake County and Central and Eastern Lake County Saturday

At 12:58 p.m. on Friday, the NWS issued a revised wind advisory that went into effect for Saturday between 1 a.m. and 4 p.m. in Central and Eastern Lake County, Western Lake County, and Northern and Eastern Klamath County.

“South winds 30 to 45 mph with gusts up to 60 mph expected,” the weather service reports. “Winds will be strongest over and just east of Summer Rim between Paisley and Summer Lake, along the Warners, and near and at the ridges elsewhere.”

“Unsecured objects will be buffeted by gusty gusts. The weather agency says that there may be a few power disruptions and the possibility of tree branches being blown down. Strong winds like these can make driving challenging, particularly for well-known cars. Be especially careful.
