The National Weather Service issued an updated dense fog advisory for Central Douglas County, Eastern Curry County, and Josephine County at 11:32 p.m. on Thursday. The advisory is in place until Friday at 10 a.m.
According to the meteorological service, “Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog.”
“Driving conditions could be dangerous due to low visibility in fog. People with respiratory conditions may experience difficulty due to poor air quality, according to the weather agency. “When it comes to dealing with high levels of air pollution during periods of stagnant air, people with respiratory illnesses should heed their doctors’ recommendations. Use your headlights, slow down, and give yourself plenty of space if you’re driving.
