Update: Air stagnation advisory affecting Oregon until Tuesday morning

At 6:05 p.m. on Sunday, the National Weather Service issued an updated air stagnation advisory for Central Douglas County, Eastern Douglas County Foothills, Klamath Basin, Northern and Eastern Klamath County, Western Lake County, and Central and Eastern Lake County. The advisory was in effect until Tuesday at 10 a.m.

The air quality will remain poor, according to the weather agency. An inversion and stagnant air near the surface are to blame for this, as they will continue to trap pollutants.

The weather service remarks, “People with respiratory problems may experience problems due to poor air quality.” “Persons with respiratory illness should follow their physicians advice for dealing with high levels of air pollution during periods of stagnant air.”

United Robots offers a service called Advance Local Weather Alerts that gathers the most recent information from the National Weather Service using machine learning.
