Two Arrested in Rockford Drug and Burglary Operation

Rockford police have arrested Ivory Holland, 29, and Kendrick Bell, 26, on multiple charges, including drug trafficking and conspiracy to commit burglary.

The arrests followed a tip-off that Holland, Bell, and James Mills, 36, were planning a home invasion in Chicago’s 4000 block of West Monroe.

On September 4, police spotted Holland and Bell at a Mobil gas station on East State Street, where they were fueling a gray Ford Fusion.

After a brief foot chase, the suspects were apprehended. A subsequent search of Holland’s residence on Garret Lane revealed a stash of illegal drugs, including fentanyl, cocaine, and MDMA pills, along with digital scales and other drug-making equipment.

Holland faces charges of delivering fentanyl, cocaine, and ecstasy, as well as conspiracy to commit robbery, residential burglary, and home invasion.
