Portland TrailblazersA face contusion sustained during Saturday’s home victory over the Dallas Mavericks will keep Jerami Grant out of action for the third straight game.
The Blazers visit the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday night.
Grant was unintentionally hit in the face during the game, but Blazers coach Chauncey Billups said he did not sustain a concussion during a recent practice. But he didn’t play in the team’s defeat to the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday night, missed practice on Wednesday, and missed Monday’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers.
Moving forward Grant was replaced in the starting lineup for both games by Deni Avdija, who is expected to do so again on Saturday.
