The Portland Trail Blazers revealed on Wednesday that rookie center Donovan Clingan had been diagnosed with a minor sprain of his left ankle.
In a week, he will have another evaluation.
Clingan injured his ankle when landing awkwardly after trying to block a jumper late in the fourth quarter of Tuesday night’s 132-114 loss to the Brooklyn Nets at the Moda Center.
Clingan got off the court on his own initiative and made his way to the dressing room.
