The Portland Trail Blazers CenterPoint guard Scoot Henderson’s night ended in the fourth quarter after he hurt his right ankle, and Deandre Ayton departed Monday night’s 146-117 loss to Denver in the third quarter due to a left calf injury.
Ayton was assisted in leaving the court into the locker room by Duop Reath and Jerami Grant, who was sidelined due to right knee pain. Henderson limped to the bench, where his ankle was checked by the training personnel.
When Ayton departed the game with 8:58 left in the third quarter, the Blazers (23-30) were behind 78-67. He finished with four personal fouls, 10 points, and zero rebounds.
With 9:33 remaining in the fourth quarter and the Blazers behind 120-97, Henderson left the game. He finished with three assists and six points.
Robert Williams III, the backup center, hurt his knee during Saturday night’s 114-98 loss to Minnesota. Due to pain in his right knee, he missed Monday night’s game against Denver.
