Trail Blazers guard Scoot Henderson undergoes MRI

Coach Chauncey Billups of the Portland Trail Blazers stated on Monday that big Robert Williams III will not travel to Los Angeles to play the Clippers, but guard Scoot Henderson may make a comeback this week.

Henderson missed a number of games over the previous two weeks due to a contusion in his left quad, which was discovered during his MRI on Sunday.

After practice on Monday, Billups stated, “He’s feeling pretty good.” It will likely take him a few days.

Henderson may be available for Friday night’s home game against the Utah Jazz (4-17), but he will miss Tuesday night’s game against the LA Clippers (13-9).

Wiliams will not travel to Los Angeles because he is still in concussion protocol, according to Billups.

Dallas (13-8) defeated the Blazers (8-13) 137-131 on Sunday night.
