Trail Blazers get back key starter against Mavericks, Kyrie Irving out

Portland TrailblazersAfter missing two games due to a sprained left knee, Jerami Grant will be back in the starting lineup on Sunday night against the Dallas Mavericks at the Moda Center.

Due to a left quad contusion, guard Scoot Henderson is still out.

Luka Doncic (wrist strain) is available after beginning the day in doubt, but Kyrie Irving (shoulder discomfort) is out for the Mavericks.

Grant will start with Anfernee Simons, Shaedon Sharpe, Toumani Camara, and Deandre Ayton, according to Blazers coach Chauncey Billups.

Deni Avdija is back in a backup position.
