Donovan Clingan, a rookie center for the Portland Trail Blazers, left the game late in the fourth quarter on Tuesday due to a right ankle injury.
With 1:15 left in the Blazers’ 132-114 loss to the Nets at the Moda Center, Clingan attempted to block a shot but fell awkwardly to the ground.
Under his own strength, Clingan stood up and hobbled off the court and into the tunnel to the locker room.
Blazers coach Chauncey Billups acknowledged Clingan’s ankle injury during the game, but he added, “I’m not sure how severe it is.”
