About 5,000 frontline healthcare workers in Oregon went on strike early Friday, sparking the biggest health care walkout in the state’s history.
The eight hospitals in the state of Providence are affected by the strike, which involves thousands of nurses as well as 150 physicians and advanced practitioners.
