In 2021, Instagram fans were invited to witness interior designer Kristin Lane transform a historic Colonial Revival house in Portland’s Dunthorpe neighborhood into a cozy English country home for her family.
In addition to before and after pictures of the legendary 1895 Cedarhurst estate, Lane’s 15,000 followers have seen pictures of her family of four having fun in their chic, cream-colored living room. In a video, Lane is shown joyfully hopping onto a cushioned bench seat beneath arched windows while pouring a celebration flute of champagne in her new kitchen with black cabinets.
