Early on Tuesday morning, authorities in unincorporated Multnomah County reported that a juvenile boy had been arrested for reportedly stabbing a relative.
Around 2:30 a.m., Lake Oswego police officers and sheriff’s deputies showed up at a residence in the 1600 block of South Collina Street. According to a statement from the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office, they apprehended the adolescent after discovering him outside.
The stabbed victim was taken to a hospital by first responders. According to officials, the victim’s injuries are not life-threatening. They have not mentioned the victim’s and the teen’s relationship, nor have they given any information about the incident or those involved.
The kid is being held at the Donald E. Long Juvenile Detention Facility, according to sheriff’s officials, and is accused of first-degree assault.
