In certain regions in southwest Washington and northwest Oregon, sporadic snow storms have dumped enough snow to force local schools to cancel classes.
Due to dangerous road conditions, Oregon City, Corbett, Canby, Colton, Molalla River, and Estacada are all closed for the day as of 8 a.m. on Wednesday.
Sporadic snow showers are expected until Wednesday morning in the Portland/Vancouver area, but snow may fall all day in places higher than 1,000 feet.

Banks, Skamania, La Center, and Vernonia are among the other schools that have postponed their opening by up to two hours on Wednesday.
