According to a news statement, a Gladstone man was taken into custody Tuesday night after police discovered his mother deceased inside their shared house.
Around 6:40 p.m., officers went to check on Rosa Leyva at the residence in the 8300 block of Cason Road. According to the police, Leyva’s son, Ronald Kirk, 36, who also resides in the house, greeted them at the door.
