Some of the best sagebrush habitat in the PNW just earned further protection

Recently, a sizable portion of some of the best sagebrush habitat for pronghorn (also known as pronghorn antelope) and sage-grouse in the Pacific Northwest was given a major safeguard.

In the Greater Hart-Sheldon region of southeast Oregon, the Bureau of Land Management is extending protections over 1.1 million acres of land.
