Shocking Incident at Chicago Walmart: Man Critically Injured in Parking Lot Shooting

A man was critically injured on Friday afternoon after a fight outside a Walmart on the city’s South Side led to a shooting.

According to Chicago police, the incident happened just after 3:30 p.m. in the parking lot of a Walmart located in the 10900 block of South Doty Avenue in Pullman. Officers reported that a 25-year-old man was involved in a fight with an unknown individual who then pulled out a gun and opened fire.

The 25-year-old man was shot in the chest and hip and was taken to the hospital in critical condition. The exact reason for the altercation is still unclear, and no arrests have been made so far.

An investigation into the incident is now underway. SkyCam9 captured footage of the scene around 4:35 p.m. Authorities were seen investigating, and caution tape surrounded a vehicle in the parking lot.
