Seattle Seahawks’ top RB out Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals

When the Seattle Seahawks play the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, their best running back will not be available.

Leading rusher Kenneth Walker was ruled out by the Seahawks on Saturday before their game against the Cardinals. Walker’s calf ailment kept him out of action.

On the team’s last injury report of the week, Walker was rated as questionable to play due to calf and ankle issues. Walker did not practice on Thursday or Friday, but he did practice sparingly on Wednesday.

For Seattle, Zach Charbonnet will now start. Walker missed Weeks two and three due to an oblique injury, thus Charbonnet started in his place. In his place, Charbonnet averaged 16 carries for 64.5 yards and scored three rushing touchdowns.

In the NFC West, the Cardinals are one game behind the Seahawks (7-5) in first place. Two weeks ago, the Seahawks defeated the Cardinals 16–6.
