Gloucester Township resident Robert F. Greiner, Sr., on January 29, 2025. 95 years old.Mary Jane Greiner’s (née Taylor) devoted spouse. beloved father of Richard A. Greiner (Gina) and Robert F. Greiner Jr. (Kathie). devoted grandfather to Justin R. Mitchell (Lindsay), Todd S. Mitchell Jr. (Kate), Barbie McFerren (Tim), and Jeffrey P. Greiner Sr. (Sandy). Jeffrey P. Greiner Jr., Katelyn Greiner, Joshua R. McFerren, Sabrina Gage (Zachary), Vaughn McFerren (Sierra), Jack Mitchell, Grace Mitchell, Clark Mitchell, Mollie Mitchell, Barrett Mitchell, and Owen Mitchell all adored their grandfather. Everyone who knew him was impacted by his love and kindness, making him a wonderful friend.Bob served on the Property Committee and was an active member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church for a long time. Additionally, he was a military police officer in Washington, DC, while serving in the US Army. Bob worked as a skillful carpenter at Scarborough/Weyerhaeuser, Inc., where he was renowned for his craftsmanship and high-quality work, until his retirement. He contributed to the construction of the Covered Bridge, Sturbridge Lakes in Voorhees, and Barclay Farms in Cherry Hill. He loved fishing, playing golf, and taking family trips to the Poconos once he retired.The viewing will take place at Trinity Lutheran Church, located at 200 E Clements Bridge Road, Runnemede, from 9:30 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, February 22, 2025. The church will have a memorial ceremony at 11:00 a.m. The family has requested that the burial be private.Donations to World Venture, a religious organization that Bob backed through his grandson Justin and his family serving in Japan, may be sent in Bob’s honor in place of flowers.
