When the state Department of Forestry is constantly complaining that they don’t have enough money, why is the state permitting such a waste of $8,521? On January 7, the financially constrained Oregon Department of Forestry will take its staff to a posh resort for a training session. Although $8,521 isn’t a lot of money, it is a lot of wasteful spending. Training can probably be done for a lot less money. Stop squandering my taxes!Gresham and Katherine Black
