Readers respond: Anti-Trump fears are alarmist propaganda

I would want to ask the many people who are now afraid that Donald Trump’s triumph will have some negative effects: What did he do that had such a detrimental effect on Oregon during his first term as president? (Readers reply: Trump must safeguard Oregon, Dec. 1).

There will be no federal abortion ban, certain industrial deregulation will boost the economy, civil liberties will not be suspended, transgender rights will not be denied, and the deportations are required. The majority of the allegations we are hearing are propaganda, fake news, and alarmist.
