It is important to remember that the 2020s decade is halfway through as we reflect on 2024 and anticipate what 2025 may bring. Decade evaluations and next-decade previews (for the 2030s) will be commonplace in five years. It seems appropriate to reflect for a moment.
Although the 1920s are sometimes referred to as “roaring,” the decade in which we currently find ourselves is turbulent. We intend to go back to the moon within the next five years. The United States will host events such as the 2028 Olympic Summer Games and a portion of the World Cup. Our nation will commemorate its 250th anniversary.
Let’s start that future by wishing each other a happy and healthy new year.
