Several sources indicate that Chip Kelly will be rejoining the NFL as the offensive coordinator for the Las Vegas Raiders.
The revelation was initially reported on Sunday by ESPN’s Adam Schefter and Pete Thamel. Since the team hasn’t made the hire public, the Associated Press reports that a source with knowledge of the decision confirmed Kelly’s departure, speaking on condition of anonymity.
Kelly, a former head coach at UCLA, Oregon, the Philadelphia Eagles, and the San Francisco 49ers, was the offensive coordinator for Ohio State’s national championship team this past season.
