Purdue safety Dillon Thieneman transfers to Oregon Ducks

The Oregon Ducks have made a significant update to their transfer portal.

Dillon Thieneman, a safety for Purdue, declared his dedication to the Ducks on Saturday. According to 247Sports rankings, the sophomore was a four-star transfer prospect and the best safety available in the portal.

Despite the team’s difficulties, Thieneman was one of the finest secondary players in the league this season with seven pass breakups and 107 tackles, ranking fourth among all Big Ten players. He is still eligible for two more years.

Next season, Thieneman will join the Ducks and probably be a major contributor to the Oregon secondary, which is losing Kobe Savage and Tysheem Johnson as seniors.
