When the Portland Trail Blazers visit the Orlando Magic on Thursday, they will have the opportunity to win three straight games for the second time this season.
Despite the point spread indicating otherwise, the Magic are susceptible due to a number of injuries.
A number of important Blazers players are also listed as injured, including Deandre Ayton (knee), Toumani Camara (illness), and Anfernee Simons (back).
The Magic are going through a difficult period. They have dropped six of their previous seven games and four in a row.
On the court, though, they will have the best player. Paolo Banchero, a forward, averages 25.3 points and 7.9 rebounds a contest. Franz Wagner (dubious) will be the second-best player on the court if he plays. He is scoring 24.4 points and dishing out 5.7 assists every night on average.
Prediction: Denver, Boston, Milwaukee (twice), and Minnesota have all lately defeated the Magic. The Magic should win because the Blazers provide them a lower level of competition.
