Portland Trail Blazers at Minnesota Timberwolves: Game preview, prediction, time, TV channel

Before the All-Star Break, the Portland Trail Blazers travel for three games to extend their winning streak to ten in eleven games.

The Blazers’ run begins Saturday night at the Moda Center against the Minnesota Timberwolves, whom they defeated on November 12 and 13.

Following a 134-89 loss to Memphis a few days prior, Portland’s victories over the Timberwolves, 122-108 and 106-98, demonstrated the team’s promise.

The Blazers’ current winning run, which is the longest since they won 13 straight games in the second part of the 2017–2018 season, was the result of two months of them continuously playing at that level.

Minnesota (29–23), who have won six of their previous eight games, has also been playing well. With a half-game advantage over the LA Clippers (28-23), the Timberwolves maintain their fifth-place standing in the Western Conference.

Prediction: Anthony Edwards is doubtful and Julius Randle will not be in Minnesota. If Edwards is unable to play, the Blazers will lose. If he does, Minnesota must be chosen.
