A planned ballot measure that would aim to greatly increase the amount of money collected from property owners to pay city parks and recreation programs has been put on hold by Portland officials in anticipation of its spring election.
According to Portland City Council President Elena Pirtle-Guiney, any such action that parks officials maintain is necessary to maintain current service levels will have to wait until the fall. On Tuesday, The Oregonian/OregonLive.
