Portland police seek help identifying ‘person of interest’ in August shooting

The public is being asked to assist Portland police in identifying a person of interest who was riding a bicycle close to the Powellhurst-Gilbert neighborhood shooting scene on August 19.

In the 12000 block of Southeast Division Street, 50-year-old Lorenzo Miranda was shot and died. Around 7:35 p.m., officers discovered him, and despite paramedics’ best efforts, he passed away on the spot. His death was declared a homicide by the medical examiner.
