Portland police say woman succumbs to injuries 20 days after crash, becomes 66th traffic death in 2024

A driver who was seriously hurt in a two-car collision in Northeast Portland last month passed away on Monday, 20 days after the collision, according to police on Tuesday.

The deceased driver was identified by the police as 42-year-old Miriam D. Morales-Luna. Officers arrived to the collision just after 5 a.m. on Nov. 13 near Northeast Airport Way and Mason Street, and she and another driver were sent to nearby hospitals for treatment. About five miles to the east of Portland International Airport is that location.
