The multi-million dollar cost of Portland Mayor Keith Wilson’s flagship plan to eradicate unsheltered homelessness within a year was revealed on Wednesday.
During two public sessions that ultimately took up five hours of the mayor’s day, Wilson was subjected to a barrage of pointed questions from county and city officials regarding his plan, where he would obtain the funds, and his position on implementing the city’s camping prohibition.
