Police lift N. Portland shelter-in-place order, even though search fails to find armed suspect

Police have canceled their almost eight-hour search for a robbery suspect who escaped into the Kenton neighborhood of North Portland early on Thursday morning while brandishing a gun.

Even though the suspect has not been apprehended by the police, the neighborhood’s shelter-in-place notice has also ceased. According to Kevin Allen, a spokesman for the Portland officers Bureau, officers are unsure of the suspect’s location, as reported by The Oregonian/OregonLive.
