Tuyet Nguyen, 71, of Portland, was murdered on January 26 after she was hit by a car in Southeast Portland, according to police on Monday.
Authorities did not disclose any details about Nguyen or the crash that claimed her life.
According to Portland police, the woman was hit by a car last Thursday in the 4200 block of Southeast C sar E. Chvez Boulevard. Approximately two blocks north of a well-known Trader Joe’s store, that busy section of road is located south of Southeast Powell Boulevard.
According to police, the motorist remained at the site and cooperated with them last week. On Monday, authorities stated that their investigation is still ongoing.
According to the police, Nguyen was Portland’s second traffic fatality of the year.
