Police ID driver killed in rollover crash in NE Portland earlier this month

The man who died in a single-vehicle collision in the 13800 block of Northeast Airport Way on Wednesday, November 20, was identified by Portland police on Saturday.

According to the police, the driver was 42-year-old Vancouver resident Cedric D. Willis. According to a news statement from the police, excessive speed was a contributing factor in the collision, which is still being investigated.

Willis was discovered deceased when officers arrived on the site at approximately 8:15 p.m. on November 20. According to authorities, during the collision, the vehicle flipped and slid off the road into a parking lot.
