Houston has been a hive of activity over the past week as residents got ready for and celebrated the year of the snake, or Lunar New Year. In addition to visiting marketplaces and spending time with families celebrating at home, local photographers Joseph Bui, Annie Mulligan, and Lexi Parra of Houston Landing witnessed customary public celebrations at plazas and temples.
