This week’s featured pets at Illinois Valley Animal Rescue are Wantonly and Emma, both of whom are looking for their forever homes.
Wantonly, a 1-year-old cat, is truly one of a kind. With a unique singing voice that might remind you of a pterodactyl or a bird of prey, she brings a touch of the mythical to her new home. Though independent, Wantonly enjoys attention and is learning to get along better with other cats. Her quirky personality and affectionate nature make her a standout companion.
Emma, an 8-year-old hound mix, is a gentle and playful senior. Emma loves stuffed toys, walks well on a leash, and prefers to be outside enjoying the sunshine rather than being confined. She thrives in a home where she can roam freely and be part of family activities. Emma is dog-selective and does not get along with cats, but she adores children and would make a loving addition to a family looking for a devoted pet.
