Park Manor Shooting: Chicago Man Killed After Being Shot in Back, Investigation Ongoing

In a tragic incident on Thursday night, a man was shot and killed in the Park Manor neighborhood of Chicago. The shooting occurred around 9 p.m. in the 7100 block of South State Street. The victim, who is believed to be between 30 and 40 years old, was shot once in the back.

After the shooting, the injured man was taken to Jackson Park Hospital by an unknown individual driving a white vehicle. Unfortunately, despite medical efforts, he was pronounced dead upon arrival. As of now, the Cook County medical examiner’s office has not released his identity.
