Oregon’s offensive line is a finalist for the Joe Moore Award for the second consecutive year.
Three teams, including the Ducks, are vying for the award, which honors college football’s best offensive line. The other finalists are Army and Texas.
First place In terms of the fewest tackles for loss allowed (43), Oregon is tied for fifth place nationally and tied for 13th with 12 sacks allowed. In their last ten games, the Ducks have only given up five sacks.
Later this month, following a visit to the campus of the winning university, the award’s voting committee will declare the 2024 Joe Moore Award winner.
Josh Conerly Jr., a left tackle, led the Ducks with an 80.3 pass-blocking rating from Pro Football Focus, allowing six total pressures in 404 opportunities. He was chosen to the first team all-Big Ten by the conference’s coaches and media.
