Oregon quarterbackDillon Gabriel is the quarterback of the year and the offensive player of the Big Ten.
Gabriel was voted Griese-Brees quarterback of the year and Graham-George offensive player of the year. He has ran for 175 yards and seven scores and thrown for 3,275 yards with 24 touchdowns and six interceptions.
Together with Bo Nix (2023), Marcus Mariota (2014), Dennis Dixon (2007), Joey Harrington (2001), and Akili Smith (1998), he is the sixth quarterback from Oregon to win the conference offensive player of the year award.
The coaches and media of the conference selected Gabriel and left tackle Josh Conerly Jr. to the first team all-Big Ten. Long snapper Luke Basso was the media’s first team pick at the position, while outside linebacker Matayo Uiagalelei, who leads the Big Ten with 10.5 sacks, was a first team defensive pick.
Second team recipients were linebacker Bryce Boetccher, running back Jordan James, and receiver Tez Johnson. Johnson was also selected by the coach for the second team as a return specialist. The coaches choose Uiagalelei and Basso for the second team, while the media chooses defensive tackle Derrick Harmon, right tackle Ajani Cornelius, and cornerback Jabbar Muhammad.
Jordan Burch, a defensive end, was chosen for the third team. Coaches select Cornelius, Harmon, and guard Marcus Harper II on the third team, while the media selects tight end Terrance Ferguson on the third team.
