For subscribers, The Oregonian/OregonLive has developed a new interactive map that shows how much snow is likely to fall in particular locations in Oregon, Washington, and the contiguous United States during the next three days.
The map offers high-resolution forecast data from the National Weather Service. Users can click on the map to get a pop-up snowfall prediction for a specific area for the next three days, or they can zoom in on a geographic grid that is displayed in 2.4 square mile segments. At the same resolution, users can also switch between low and high estimations.
